The DISTANCE and THE DIFFERENCE

Upto a evel of thought,even Einstein could not write off the Play of Pre-Destination !
The two great Democracies of the world are placed almost opposite sides of the Globe.The U.S.A is largest in size, smaller in population, wealthiest in economy and the oldest democracy onn time-line , while India is the largest in population, smaller in size, poorer in economy but youngest in political freedom.
Yet there are other differences too;
U.S.A has a Democracy where the PRESIDENT is the most Powerful one and has to win with Maximum nomber of support of the people .
In India the Picture is different . It is a parliamentary democracy where the Prime Minster( now Dr. M.M.Singh) is not the Most powerful person but the Majority Party-president is (now Mrs. Sonia Gandhi).
That is the crux and paradox of power STATUS. The Prime Minister was elected not by the whole people but by only a fractional Part of India(Assam)as MP and was then pulled in to fill up the chair of PM-ship and not with his own strength but by the party-choice,thus resulting in POWR-Failure or PoWer -Crisis .
And now the PM , helplessly ,is praying for a MAGIC-WAND or Complaining of 'COALITION -Compulsion.

RTS or RIGHT TO Speak -Out : ;( India Issue )

I THINK ( IF I Have right to think, under present 'cripple' Democracy) that , even, the PM is not the right "CAPTAIN' nor is he as 'CLEAN' as some interested SUPPORTERS are trying to project him as.
He does not Have the STATURE of a 'ROBUST CAPTAIN ,To Steer the SHIP ( Contry) while waves are so STORMY and a CAPTAIN who has been wishing for a ' MAGIC WAND', all his life! That is not how a Capatin or Lrader responds to adverse situations.
Even, after A Raja was arrested, I saw, on TV, the way he was patting him, for the sigh of relief he allowed him.
He may me a great Economist and I know he is , but a Captain or a 'LEAD-ER' is made of different stuff and he does not, I think , fit in that attire. He has plenty of ROTTEN EGGS in his BUSKET.
Nor he represent the whole people , being elected from a remote crner of India (Assam) The real PM of a vast Country like India should be elected by the WHOLE COUNTRY, to be free of Party -Bondage.
I am past 80 years now and I may be un-important but I have seen and experienced a lot !

AN ADVICE TO OBAAMA : ( On Maths)

Dear President,
The quickest way to convert your advice to 'Reality' is as follows:

Take away all 'Calculators ' from School-children's REACH, up to the age of 15 ( fifteen) and also from Schools and introduce MULTIPLICATION - TABLE (1 into 1 - - - - - - - ---up to 20 into ten ) by 'Oral practice' , as we learnt in our child -hood from our mother -grand-mother , 'Patthah-shaalaa'(nursery) , then primary , secondary school-level.
I was in U.S A for 15 years and found that , even to count 'three-times four' , the kids brought out the CALCULATOR to know that it is 12 !
In 1997, even as a Senior Citizen , in ACME, I could calculate my 'Total purchase faster than the lady before the machine at the 'Exit' counter.

TAKE off the CALCULATOR up to school Standard SIX, let them learn the Multiplication Table by practising orally and memorising it and find the outcome.
