Ravi Shankar, Beatles Influence, Dead At 92

Sitar master introduced Indian music and instruments to the Western World and collaborated with late Beatle George Harrison.

World music superstar and Beatles inspiration Ravi Shankar has died at age 92. The master of the sitar and father of singer Norah Jones, Shankar was dubbed the "godfather of world music" by late Beatle George Harrison, who collaborated with Shankar for the legendary 1971 benefit Concert For Bangladesh.
According to reports, three-time Grammy winner Shankar died Tuesday at a hospital near his home in Encinitas, California following heart valve replacement surgery last week. In addition to Jones, Shankar was also the father of musician Anoushka Shankar, a Grammy-nominated sitar player and composer.
Born Ravindra Shankar Chowdhury in Varanasi, India, on April 7, 1920, Shankar (whose stage name means "sun") moved to Paris with his mother at age 10 to tour with his brother Uday's Indian dance troupe. Inspired by Indian classical music, he then moved back to his native country at age 13 and studied the sitar for seven years with his teacher, Allaudin Khan.in 2001.

But why not, -   those  that  were  responsible   for  DIVISION/ PARTITION  of  INDIA  into  3   BRUTALLY  DIVIDED   PARTS out  of  'POLITICAL  GAMBLING'  as  POST-WAR  AFTER-MATH  should  not  be  held  RESPONSIBLE  and  PUNISHED ? Or what  REWARD  for  them ?

Even  BERLIN  was  UNITED, finally    but  GANDHI's  INDIA  are PIECE-Meal  NATIONS  now !
 Who  was  the  AUTHOR ( or  Authors) of  this  VILLAINY ?
What  PRICE  or  PRIZE   for this  BUTCHERY  ? ?

These types of talks like "White Votes"/Black votes , even in USA ( like Hindu Votes, Muslim Votes or Minority Votes /OBC votes etc in India ) 

are big INSULTS on the logo that we now symbolize and are proud of and name -- DEMOCRACY !
This negative feeling/ attitude or usages will ultimately erode further the current fragmenting state of whatever Democracy remains anywhere on the GLOBE.
It is so sad to see this viral mentality now in USA too !
The problem that often disturbs my soul is that , ---there is no real SOCIALISM nor real Real DEMOCRACY anywhere on the Earth, though , I think USA -Democracy & Indian Democracy , as of now , are poles apart with USA , of course , on +VE side.
